Where Do You Find Yourself? In Word & Worship, or Wrestling & Warfare?

The life of a believer is an great one, but at times perplexing one.

Many tend to believe that a believer's life will be one free of trials, hardships, and pain. But life has taught us that that's a fallacy!

Others believe that life will be filled with only good things. Things such as favor, abundance, and increase! Unfortunately, that too is untrue.

The truth is, the life of a believer vacillates between those 2 areas as well as and many others.

The question today is one that many ponder and worry about on a regular basis. Am I studying the Word enough? Do I spend enough time in Worship? Why am I always seemingly in Warfare? OR Why does it seem that I'm always Wrestling, like Jacob, for my blessing?

The question is not a WHY ME question, but rather a WHY NOT ME question!

Jesus was challenged in many of the same areas; therefore we should also expect to be. We tend to forget the he was God, but he wrapped himself in flesh. No, he didn't succumb to sin. But he was tempted, as we are, and had challenges during his JOURNEY, on earth, in route to his heavenly DESTINATION.

Heb 4:15* For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

So do your best to Worship and stay in Word! But know that much like an athlete developing muscle, know that God grants us moments of strength to get you over moments of Wrestling, Warfare and even Weakness!

I must also say that YOU WILL fall sometimes but get back up and continue the journey. When you do, start the progression all over again; Word, Worship, or Worship and Word!

Ro 3:23* For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Pr 24:16* For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again...

1Jo 1:9* If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Know this, our walk with God is about the JOURNEY, as much as it is about the DESTINATION!

I'm praying for you and I hope you're praying for me as well!
